For equipment made after the spring of 1989, choose the Ag & Turf Green Paint - TY25624. This is a lead-free formula that is environmentally safe, user-friendly and is suitable for interior or exterior use. It resists cracking, chipping and fading. The spray paint may be applied directly to metal, plastic or wood without using a primer although John Deere primer is suggested for best results with corrosion resistance.
